Our Story

Arkington Bears began back in 2019. At that time, I was a full-time mother with a budding interest in all things craft. I began my journey with knitting, closely followed by crocheting but I knew that I had more to give!

I came across my first Mohair Teddy Bear pattern in the summer of 2019. I soon fell in love with all things teddy bear and began creating my own patterns and developing my signature style whilst still being mindful of the traditional workmanship of the very first Teddy Bear.

I began manufacturing teddy bears on a small scale for the adult collector towards the end of 2020 and was blessed with many happy customers and testimonials!

Reggie, my first bear sold is shown below in all of his glory! He now lives with his adoptive family in the UK.

I have also been blessed enough to be able to start 'little arkington', an expansion of Arkington Bears which has allowed me to delve into the wider world of creation and design especially for children which is such privilege! Check out little arkington toys for children here!
